Things I love. (1)

I love a good book. A really good book. Just "acceptable" is not worth my time - and unfortunately I have spent time reading more than a couple "acceptable" books. There are so many worlds to traverse, authors and minds, philosophies and ideas locked in the intimate papers of the imagined for me to continue spending my time with the "acceptable". Stellar books are lovely.

  1. Any particular books you recommend?

  2. I agree. Nothing better than a GOOD book. Please, feel free to recommend some, I'm always looking to expand my knowledge.

  3. Strange Boy and ChaoticGRRL - expect a short list in the future. As you are both Canadian though, I'll start with 5 Canadian pieces of literature I think are definite classics.

    1. Alias Grace - Margaret Atwood
    2. Life of Pi - Yann Martel
    3. The Favourite Game - Leonard Cohen
    4. Fugitive Pieces - Anne Michaels
    5. Timothy Findlay - Not Wanted On The Voyage.

    Absolute gems in my collection.
