I'm not sure what to make of this wistful post, Neal. Seems to be a combination of wanting a child of your own (perhaps someday); envy your friend's wife has such a good and honourable husband; and hopefulness you and a man like your friend will one day have a family together. So much implied in so few words. And what an adorable picture. Is that the child you refer to or a generic picture from the Internet? This one is sure a cutey.
Admittedly, I don't know if it is any of the above (though I can't deny having them as goals). I was driving home from the gym, was reminded of the birth, and smiled. It brought me joy. That is all (I think).
